Travel To New Brunswick For A Colour Filled Autumn Tour
I have been to some awesome places in Canada but it’s New Brunswick, Canada I chosen to call home. Why? Because of the scenery and fly fishing..
The Autumn colours of New Brunswick just can’t be beat as the changing of the trees from summer colours to mind blowing picture postcard colours of autumn.
The first time I travelled to New Brunswick was late summer but not before the leaves had started to change. You may have thought you have seen all the beauty here but if you haven’t been here in the fall you should think again.
I came to visit family here in New Brunswick and took a train from Toronto. I was the most spectacular scenic trip I had ever taken. I planned the next trip down for the fall so I could see the colours again and maybe get some pictures this time around. It was like having my own guided tour while I was on the train.
As we were leaving Toronto, Canada it was dark. It wasn’t much time on the train, about a half hour I think, and we came into a very low flat area. Hard to tell exactly what it was but there was a thunder storm going on that was spectacular to say the least.
It was so awesome that the train actually stopped so we could watch the lightening bolts. I have seen lightning like that on TV but as cool as it was to watch on the tube it was nothing even close like this up close personal experience.
After a few minutes of light show we moved on and I went to sleep. I would up just about dawn and I actually cried at what I saw.
I am sure my mouth was hanging open when I saw all the colourful trees through the early morning fog. It was like a rain forest picture but with multi-coloured trees instead of all green.
I woke up to see the prettiest scenery I can ever remember seeing, even post cards couldn’t match the view.
I have lived in New Brunswick now for 25 years and it was all about the year round beauty but the fall colours convinced me.
Taking a scenic tour through New Brunswick, especially in the fall, once the leaves have changed colour and I am sure you will be back for more.
