i live in melbourne fl and it seemed worse here during frances…. there was buildings and houses tearing apart… hah it was the last hurracain we stayed for cause our roof flew off in the middle of the night and we couldent evac cause it was too late and there was lots of tornadoes in the area too at the time

I remember a few days before it hit, the news was saying it would landfall as a CAT 4 or 5 with winds up to 145mph…….good thing it downgraded before landfall! I was at FIT in Melbourne for it
